My Books

In the early years of my career I wrote for many different magazines.

More recently I have had a number of books published.

The Insider’s Guide to New Hampshire, sadly, went out of print after the second edition (because the publisher was sold).

It was a fun project for a few years, though, and gave me an excuse to visit all those places you generally only go to when you have company from out of town!

These “Little” books from Pauline Books and Media are controlled-vocabulary early readers.

Recently out of print but still available online from resellers.

(Also published in Polish!)

My three titles from Capstone Books are written for elementary school students.

The publisher has kept these  available as print-on-demand..

My magnum opus (so far) is the second in a four-book series Sports and Games through History from Greenwood-:

It is the source of much of the material I share in my school visits.

An on-going project, and great fun, are the books in the Notable Women series from Apprentice Shop Books.

So far I have profiled women from five states.
